ABOUT  LLOYD

Most of my work to date has been in Britain, close to my home which is situated near the Royal Parks in South West London. It was while I was at Kingston University that I found out about the wondrous place that is Richmond Park.
I do photograph other areas of the country and overseas, however I find nothing compares to the magic and charm of home.

When it comes to my work, I prefer a fine art style. It's not enough for me to take a photo of a beautiful landscape or a stunning image of a wild animal, but to create a scene and story that is a combination of the two. What others say are one-off shots, that are not possible and that can only be created in Photoshop, I aspire to capture.
I also believe it's important to keep the purity of the moment, especially when it comes to nature, so with ideology I do not use Photoshop in post-edit, and still to this day, I only using a simple editing software.

A photography friend said once when I first started, "everything has already been done".  My aspiration is to show that there is still more to be seen and experienced in this world, and not everything has been done.....yet!

I am very passionate about nature, and it is my firm belief that it is the last pure and natural thing we have left in this world, which sadly is in decline. My hope through my photographs is to show moments which literally move your soul, and sense of being, moments that cannot be explained by words, moments that give you a glimpse of the awe inspiring world we live in.

“It seems to me that the natural world is the greatest source of excitement; the greatest source of visual beauty, the greatest source of intellectual interest. It is the greatest source of so much in life that makes life worth living.”
